Luxuary sheet

The linen cupboard was the house-wife’s pride. Piles with sheet, pillow-cases and towels , all with beautiful monograms. They had been made during the engagement period, and the patterns came from books or from other textiles. Who had the biggest dowry? Or the most beautiful one?
