My wonderful curtain

I was overwhelmed when I found this curtain at a second-hand market. A wide border with all the colourful flowers of the summer – what more can you wish? Here is cornflower, veronica, marguerite, Polygala vulgaris, timothy-grass, harebell, tansy and thistle. Two butterflies are flying there, too.

Curtain with summer flowers in stem-stitches and satin-stitches. From 1950.
