A shaving towel for Daddy´s chinWhen the razor was used, the last soap-lather was taken away with a towel. Soon special shaving towels were made, not so big and with embroidered advice or proverbs. The shaving towels were common gifts for Father´s day, and the mail-order companies had a lot of them. Who´ll get the shaving kiss? was a common text.  A shavig towel in linen with stem-stitches.
