Bobbin lace

I have always admired bobbin lace cloths but never tried to make a lace. But many people like to make laces, and a lot of the laces are so wellknown that they have their own names.

Here in Sweden Vadstena is known as a place where pretty laces are made. The Birgitta sisters (nuns) brought the lace-making to the town in the 14th century.
