A hanging from the 20th century

On many hangings you could read moralizing lectures. Diligence, good temper and a good way of life were highly appreciated. This wonderful hanging has a fainted border, but the embroidery still has lustre. I like it very much!

Hanging made of linen with a linen border and a motif in pearlthread. About 1880.
