A really fine table-cloth with Venetian embroideryThe linen cloth has a beautifully worked border with blanket-stitches and braids. It is very nice on a dark table top. This kind of embroidery was popular at the end of the 19th century and would imitate the handsewn laces. It was used on clothes for women, too. A linen cloth, about 20” square. Made in the beginning of the 20th century but I bought it in 2004.
