Hangings with proverbs

Many people wish happiness and fortune, but do they think as the sentences of the hangings? Happiness is to smile through tears when you are crying! Fortune is to give without waiting for something in return! Wise words!!

The hangings, which people had on their walls, were decorative and gave the room a splash of colour. Very often they had a sentence, which could give a reflection.
